This Is the Mission

As the East Coast Representative, I have the privilege of helping bring the Ready Now ministry to churches from Maine to Florida. This calling is about so much more than launching programs—it’s about people, stories, and the hope of real transformation.

I come alongside pastors, equipping them with practical tools to reach those who are struggling with addiction and searching for a way forward. Together, we raise up leaders by training facilitators who can guide others through life-changing, healing-centered groups. I also spend time in communities, leading conversations that shine a light on the challenges so many are facing and opening the door for compassion, understanding, and action.

At the heart of this work is connection—helping each church link arms with local resources so that no one has to walk through recovery alone. Every step is about making support not just available, but personal, accessible, and life-giving.

The mission field is wide, stretching 2,300 miles across 16 states, with 40 major cities and nearly 3,300 Assemblies of God churches. But more than numbers, these are communities filled with individuals and families who need hope. And in each place, there is an opportunity to see lives restored, purpose renewed, and stories rewritten.

The urgency of this mission is underscored by alarming statistics:

37 death occurs from an alcohol-impaired driving crash every single day! That is one every 39 minutes.

136 people dying from drug overdoses daily

131 individuals taking their own lives—equating to one suicide every 11 minutes

It’s impossible to ignore—our communities are hurting. So many are carrying burdens in silence, searching for hope, healing, and a way forward. But we know that God has not called us to stand by—He has called us to step in, to love, and to be a light in the darkness.

By supporting and participating in the Ready Now ministry, we have the opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus, meeting people right where they are and walking alongside them toward freedom and restoration. This is more than responding to a need—it’s answering a calling.

The time to act is now. Together, through faith and obedience, we can bring hope to the broken, healing to the hurting, and be part of the life-changing work God is already doing in our communities.
